Description: The Ignite is an annual winter carnival organized by the members of the Leadership Training Service (LTS). The money that is collected by selling tickets is used to buy sewing machines and wheelchairs for the needy. This time, Ignite was hosted on the 26th and 27th December 2017. A group of LTSers of our School, reported to the school premises at 1:30 pm. We were then taken to the St. Xavier’s Collegiate School primary grounds, accompanied by two teachers, Ms Paul and Mrs Singh. We were given two hours to explore the carnival. There were a number of game stalls to entertain the crowd. Mini golf, Break the Pyramid, Ring the Bottle, drew strong attention. There were also, quite a few food stalls for the hungry guests to themselves with. A music stall was also put up, where people could request for songs to be played. In the two hours that we were given, we immensely enjoyed ourselves, helping ourselves to food and playing games. We were then asked to gather at the exit at 4 pm. We were brought back to School and sent home. Malvika Choraria and Purvi Tantia, deserve a special mention. They volunteered to be a part of the organizing committee for Ignite. They gave up several weekends and holidays to organize the event. We had a very enjoyable time. It was an event that was organized for a good cause and we were happy to be a part of it.
