On 6th February 2025, Loreto House hosted the Inter-Loreto Vernacular Workshop and Presentation Competition, titled 'Chhayanot 2025'. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a prayer service, in true Loreto tradition. This occasion also marked the launch of Loreto House's very own Bengali e-magazine, 'Roddur'.
The event featured two simultaneous segments—the Bengali Workshop on Bengali Detective Characters and the Hindi Workshop on Nukkad Natak (Street Play).
The Bengali Workshop was a testament to the writing skills of 72 students across 6 Loreto schools as they narrated self composed stories prepared in 45 minutes as teams.
The Hindi Workshop featured an interactive session between the judges and the students on the fundamentals of Street Play, after which the students presented their own plays on pressing societal concerns.
All students creatively and actively participated in both workshops which were conducted by renowned personalities, who offered their valuable and experienced insights and judged the final presentations. The day was a celebration of language, culture, and creative expression, leaving participants enriched and inspired.
