Description: One Billion Rising (Senior Section)
One Billion Rising is a global campaign founded by Eve Ensler to end violence against women. The campaign expands each year with new themes and artistic actions. This year's theme has been chosen as " Fighting Fascism".
To commemorate this event, the students of Classes VIII and IX prepared a special assembly aimed to rise against all forms of oppression emphasizing on "Fascism". The assembly included a prayer , hymn, recitation and concluded with a dance presentation on the theme song of OBR
" Break the Chains " We thank our Principal Mrs.P.Bagchi for giving an inspiring address to the audience stating that everyone should be valued irrespective of their caste, gender and race.
