From 24th to 26th October, the students of Class XII went on a three-day excursion to Shantiniketan, a memorable and enriching experience.
The group left early on the 24th and reached by noon. Their first visit was to the Amkhoi Fossil Park, where they viewed fossils nearly 20 million years old, offering an intriguing look into Bengal’s ancient history.
The following day, they explored the Uttarayan Complex and the Srijani Museum, both showcasing Rabindranath Tagore’s vision of art and education. They later visited the vibrant Sonajhuri Haat, filled with handmade crafts, local artists, and baul music, and ended the day with an energetic tribal dance performance.
Beyond the sightseeing and learning, what made the trip truly special was the sense of togetherness it fostered. From cheerful bus rides to shared meals and laughter, the excursion gave students the opportunity to spend quality time together outside the classroom.
