The PoSH Act , or the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, is a law designed to protect women from sexual harassment in the workplace in India. It mandates that all workplaces with 10 or more employees establish an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to handle complaints and implement a PoSH policy.
Loreto House promotes a gender sensitive workplace. The members of the Internal Committee have organized workshops and awareness programmes for the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff for sensitizing employees, under the guidance of our Principal, Mrs.P. Bagchi.
In Loreto House, we pledge to nurture an environment that fosters respect, creates boundaries, encourages reporting and promises action.
